us in Bimini! We can, perhaps, thank Mr. Ernest Hemingway for putting
the small islands of North and South Bimini on the radar for modern day
tourism. Although not a diver seeking encounters with Great Hammerheads,
Hemingway, the devoted sports fisherman, celebrated and adored Bimini’s
natural beauty and turquoise waters. Brimming with beautiful seascapes,
mystique, and lore, Bimini has much to offer…but we’re here for the
hammerheads. |

 Conveniently
located right on the water, Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina is a
boutique resort situated in the heart of Alice Town where restaurants and
beaches are plentiful. Enjoy island fare at Bimini Seafood Co. and Conch Bar
or sip on the island’s largest collection of high-end rums at Hemingway’s
Poolside Rum Club. Both of these establishments are on the resort premises
however, there are plenty of options for dining in town as well! You’ll
spend 4 nights here and enjoy 3 days of 2 tank dives with Neal Watson’s
Bimini Scuba Center.

The main attraction beyond some pleasant reef and wreck diving, is the Great
Hammerheads! You’ll spend 2 days with these massive (up to 20ft in length)
apex predators. Sitting at just 20ft of water, you’ll enjoy long dives with
these impressive creatures and only be done when you’re out of air or the
sun begins to set - whichever comes first! |

 Neal
Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, located at the Bimini Big Game Club, operates
6 dive boats, including a 60-foot glass bottom dive boat well-suited to
accommodate divers, snorkelers and sightseers alike. In addition to reefs,
wrecks and wall diving, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center offers Great
Hammerhead Shark, Wild Dolphin, Reef Shark and Sting Ray Safaris.
The Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina is perched seaside with views of
tranquil bonefish flats and offshore mangrove islands that make up the small
island chain of Bimini. Our direct exposure to the Atlantic Ocean and
relatively shallow reefs make The Biminis one of the most spectacular
aquatic destinations in The Bahamas. The amazing coral reefs, blue holes and
canyons are not only easily accessible but provide shelter for an abundance
of marine life ranging from the tiniest of reef fish to turtles, dolphins,
eagle rays and so much more. Our Great Hammerhead Safaris run for a
limited-time period each year (December through April). |
