During the design process OxyCheq solicited ideas and opinions of many divers.  The objective was to develop buoyancy systems that were well balanced, streamlined, provided buoyancy in the correct areas, minimized drag, and built to the same high standards as their existing product line.

All OxyCheq / Koplin backplates can be configured with an optional crotch strap.

OxyCheq Aluminum Backplates

Fits two inch (50mm) webbing. Slots for cam bands for single tank use. Holes on 11 inch centers. All plates are laser cut, machine beveled on slots and outside edges to prevent excess wear on soft products such as wet suits, drysuits, and wings. Uncoated aluminum will oxidize when used in salt water. All OxyCheq aluminum plates are hard coat anodized or Powder Coated* to keep the aluminum from oxidizing and turning to powder.
