thirty years JW Fishers has specialized in the design and manufacture of
reasonably priced, high tech underwater search equipment. The product line
includes diver-held and boat-towed metal detectors, marine magnetometers,
underwater camera systems, ROVs, and side scan sonar.
The company
was founded in the mid-sixties by current president and CEO Jack Fisher. JW Fishers
offers a complete line of underwater video systems including a
mini-cameras for helmet mounting, diver-held cameras, drop down cameras to
view the bottom, towed cameras, and two Remote Operated Video (ROV)
systems. Each system has an umbilical to the surface that feeds
live video topside for viewing and recording. |

Diver Held Camera provides a cost effective method for
underwater search and video inspections, hull inspections, bridge inspections, or
any of the numerous underwater structure inspections
encountered by today's commercial diver.
The DHC-1 can
be carried by, or mounted to, a diver. The system can also be
attached to any underwater structure for around-the-clock
monitoring of underwater sites (handle is removable).
The camera operation and lighting are controlled with a switch
on the rear of the camera housing and can also be controlled
from the surface. The DHC-1 uses power from the boat to operate
it's camera and lighting systems. Topside
the DHC-1 connects to a video monitor or standard TV. The video
can be recorded on any VCR to provide your client with a
permanent record of the inspection job.

 JW Fishers MC-1 Mini Camera is designed for a variety of applications. The
Mini Camera is so compact and lightweight it can easily be
mounted to a diver's helmet or lowered into a pipe for internal
inspections. The MC-1 can assist the commercial diver performing
underwater structure inspections, or be lowered into the water
on a pole to perform shallow water inspections from the surface.
An internal LED light ring is available for applications where
size is critical such as pipe inspection work. An external 100
or 250 watt light is available for applications where high
powered lighting is required (water-cooled allowing many
operations between bulb replacement). The Mini Camera is surface powered
allowing unlimited operating time. |

The camera produces sharp, clear video images that are
viewed on a topside monitor and can be recorded on a VCR. The
MC-1 can also be purchased with a color camera and monitor for
those applications where a color picture is required.
Commercial-grade black & white and color cameras are also
available when the best possible picture is required.
