Little Cayman Beach Resort | Group Dive Trip with Scuba CenterWhy do we keep returning to Little Cayman over the years? Simply put, Little Cayman has some of the best diving the Caribbean has to offer. Cousteau had said the Bloody Bay wall is among the ten best dives in the world. The Cayman Islands are located 150 miles south of Cuba in the Caribbean Sea. All three islands are low lying and are composed of limestone and consolidated coral, and are an outcropping of the Cayman Ridge, a submerged mountain range that extends west from the Sierra Maestra in Cuba. The Cayman Trench, the deepest part of the Caribbean at a depth of over four miles, separates the three small islands from Jamaica.

Little Cayman Beach Resort | Charming and comfortable – some say romantic – Little Cayman is world-renowned for its Bloody Bay Wall. | Scuba Center Dive TravelLittle Cayman Beach Resort is situated on a white, sandy beach in Blossom Village, the first area of the island resettled in 1833 after Spanish privateers ran off the turtle fishermen who’d settled there. They have a total of 40 air-conditioned, spacious rooms situated in two-story ‘palm-tree height’ buildings and surrounded by lush tropical foliage. 28 Poolview Rooms encircle the pool and lush, tropical courtyard. 12 Oceanfront Rooms offer spectacular views of the turquoise water and reef.

Staffed by an international team of trained Chefs, Bird of Paradise dining room serves a wide variety of gourmet international and Caribbean-inspired cuisine. Choose to dine in their air-conditioned dining room, screened lanai, or al fresco on the patio with the resident iguanas! Dinners have a different theme every evening, featuring new and delicious soups, appetizers, salads, vegetables, starches, and hot entrées. Most nights also feature some type of specialty carving station. And there’s always a selection of fabulous desserts to top off a great meal. The Chef will be happy to accommodate those with special dietary or vegetarian needs. Dining hours are even tailored to dive schedules, including extended hours to accommodate night dives.

Reef Divers at Little Cayman Beach Resort | Scuba Center Group Dive TripReef Divers offers the height of convenience with one-of-a-kind “valet diving” service. All that you’ll carry are memories, as their experienced diving staff oversees the lifting, lugging, and loading of all of your diving gear. Just relax and ride on their custom-built dive fleet to explore the island’s best diving sites. Immerse yourself in the thrill of the dive as their team takes care of the work and worries.

Forget the hassle of heavy tanks because the diving staff will change your tanks after every dive. And when your day of diving is done, their team will rinse your gear right on the boat as you unwind from your dive on the dock. Special rinse tanks and drying rooms are available on the dock for removing and rinsing your wetsuits and fins. Once you’ve experienced valet diving, you won’t want to dive any other way.

The Cayman Islands have strict Marine Conservation Laws and many of the 57 dive sites are within protected Marine Park Zones, including the legendary Bloody Bay Wall – Little Cayman’s most famous dive attraction. Coral canyons and sand chutes lead you through the pristine deep blue waters of the outer reef before plunging to 6000ft. These exhilarating walls are covered with brightly hued sponges, corals and sea fans. The 80° F water is second to none when it comes to clarity and it is said that more underwater photographs are taken in the Cayman Islands than in all other Caribbean destinations. Caymans’ trademark turtles are a common sight and eagle rays, angelfish, reef sharks and grouper count among the 500 species of fish that have been documented here.
