PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty Course
Find a new and different way to configure your cylinders with the PADI Sidemount Diver course. This course will teach you to get the most out of your sidemount harness system.

Sidemount diving offers:

  • An alternative way to streamline in the water

  • Easier equipment transportation when topside

  • Reduced lower back strain

  • Provides redundant gas supply

  • Ability to monitor all equipment because it is in front

  • Increased gas supply for longer dives

PADI Sidemount Diving Specialty Course is available at Scuba Center in Eagan, Minnesota
Because you are able to move the cylinder from your back to your side, it instantly takes the pressure off of your back and gives you more flexibility to move and enjoy your dive. Plus, you don"t have to walk to the dive site with the cylinders on your back. You can enter the water and clip them on and go.
Dives are on Saturday at Square Lake near Stillwater, Minnesota.

 Prerequisite: PADI Open Water certification (or qualifying cert. from another organization) and 15 yrs old.
Course Fee: $349 - The course fee includes: PADI Sidemount Diver training fees and certification processing. Sidemount harness provided by student to maximize time spent personalizing fit and trim. Additional scuba equipment is not included, but may be rented* (advanced reservations recommended).  *Gloves appropriate for local water temperatures and strap fins with boots are required for the course, but are not available for rental.

PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty Course | PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centers meet all PADI Five Star Dive Center standards and provides the same level of service. They also meet additional training requirements and offer PADI Instructor-level training. What do I need to do before class?:
Complete a PADI Student Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, we must require a signed physicians approval before you participate. You can download and review the Diver Medical | Participant Questionnaire. Please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature if required.

Remember to bring your sidemount harness to the first night of class
PADI Sidemount Diver Schedule: Class: Wed. 7-10pm, Pool: Fri. 7-10pm, Dives: Sat. and Sun. starting at 9:30am. Class and Pool sessions are held in Eagan, Minnesota.
