The Highland Valor is a backplate-integrated harness. It is the chassis that supports multiple plates, wings and technical pockets.

  • Supports twin cylinders when backplate is installed

  • Waist panels are reinforced with high-density polyethylene sheets to support heavy weight pockets, utility pockets, or accessories

  • Four 2-inch (50 mm) shoulder and hip D-rings with the ability to remove or add more D-rings

  • Six 1-inch (25 mm) side harness D-rings for mounting canister lights or other accessories

Backplates
The backplate is the chassis that supports the entire kit. Technical divers choose Highland backplates because of the attention given to the small details such as beveled edges and slot placement.

  • All edges are beveled to protect the harness webbing

  • The 3 holes at the top of the plate offer variable height adjustment for air cell and cylinder mounting.

  • In addition, a corresponding lower oval slot allows for lower band bolts that may be misaligned

  • Slots at bottom for use with 1 in (2.5 cm) or 2 in (5 cm) crotch strap

  • 3/8 in (9.5 mm) accessory mounting holes along the sides and bottom

  • Hardware not included

Highland Wings feature streamlined, low-profile hardware including a low-profile elbow on the upper left.

Side-Slide weight pockets are an easy way to add lead to a 2 in webbed harness, usually associated with a backplate and a wing.

  • Large, side-squeeze 2 in buckles on the front of the pocket for easy release of weights

  • Adjustment strap with D-ring to cinch down for snug fit

  • Each pocket holds up to 12 lbs of lead weights

  • Dual grommet tail on the back allows for attachment to backplate (Keeps pouches from sliding forward)

  • A 30º angled web retainer on the back provides an option to mount the weights at an upward angle, a feature desirable to small waisted divers
