* Does not include international travel days.
Indonesia, an enchanting archipelago of over 17,000 islands, is a dream destination for scuba divers and nature enthusiasts alike. Beneath its cerulean waters lies a hidden world of staggering biodiversity offering some of the most exhilarating dive experiences on the planet. Picture diving into warm, crystalline waters surrounded by swirling barracuda, vibrant coral gardens, and elusive creatures like mandarin fish and hammerhead sharks. The Banda Sea dazzles with dramatic drop-offs and deep sea seamounts, Raja Ampat enchants with its dense coral cover and marine megafauna, and Halmahera offers uncrowded reefs alive with rare critters and vibrant soft corals. Each region enchants and surprises, making for an exhilarating sail through paradise.

Damai II liveaboard | Raja Ampat Indonesia | Scuba Center dive travelLiveaboard diving in Indonesia offers an unmatched way to explore the archipelago’s most remote and pristine underwater environments—many of which are unreachable by day boats or resort-based diving. The Damai II was constructed in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi by Pak Hadji Baso in 2011. Pak Hadji Baso is one of the most respected master boat builders in the traditional Indonesian boat building community of Bira. The Damai II has a deck length of 40 meters (131 ft) and a beam of 9 meters (29.5 ft) at its widest point. It has been built to an uncompromising standard and fitted with all the latest diving, navigation, and safety equipment.

The vessel is equipped with three spacious outside deck areas, an outdoor dining facility, our famous massage and spa treatment area and plenty of extra lounging and sunbathing space.
The below deck accommodation has been designed to accommodate single or twin occupants in a level of luxury not seen on another vessel in Indonesia. Each cabin boasts a private shower and head with a queen-size bed and a separate day bed. The cabins measure approximately 20 sq. meters (225 sq.ft) each and have been finished with the highest quality furnishings. The stern staterooms are over 40 sq. meters (430 sq ft) each and boast their own private deck with loungers, a super-king size bed, day beds, two desks and en-suite shower and separate head.
The dive facilities have been designed for easy accommodation. Dive stations are larger and paired with wider individual rinse tanks. High-speed tender boats create the exquisite service and diving experience that is DIVE DAMAI.

From the pelagic-packed channels of Raja Ampat to the hammerhead hotspots of the Banda Sea and the unexplored coral gardens of Halmahera, the Damai II liveaboard gives you access to multiple world-class dive sites in one seamless itinerary. Plus, with up to four dives a day, your time underwater is maximized, and surface intervals often include breathtaking scenery, island excursions, and wildlife encounters.

Group travel adds another layer of value and enjoyment to the liveaboard experience. Sharing a dive trip with fellow enthusiasts builds an instant sense of community—whether you're exchanging stories over meals, teaming up for underwater photography, or helping each other gear up on the dive deck. Group travel also instills a confidence that comes from exploring remote areas with experienced guides and like-minded adventurers. In a country as vast and culturally diverse as Indonesia, group liveaboard travel brings together the best of both worlds—ease of planning and depth of experience—turning an extraordinary dive trip into an unforgettable journey.
