Advance your career in the
dive industry by continuing your education as a PADI Professional. |

You’ve
been a scuba diver for over six months, you may have already
attained the Master Scuba Diver rating, and treated yourself to
several fun-filled scuba diving vacations —but something’s missing.
Then one day you realize that you not only want to participate in
scuba diving, but you want to teach the sport you have come to love.
At Scuba Center we've been teaching scuba diving
classes since 1973. We were Minnesota's first PADI 5 Star Training
Facility and have grown
to become
Minnesota's largest Scuba School.
Scuba Center is proud to be a PADI Five Star Instructor Development
Center (Five Star IDCs meet additional training requirements and offer PADI
Instructor-level training). If your goal is to become a PADI Scuba
Instructor look to Scuba Center. With two PADI Course Directors on staff,
we can help you follow your dream. |

PADI Instructor Examination ( IE )
|
After you complete your IDC,
you demonstrate what you’ve learned in the PADI Instructor Examination
(IE). Here a PADI Instructor Examiner independently and objectively
assesses your knowledge and skills, testing everything from dive theory to
PADI training standards. PADI is the only certification organization that
requires an objective, independent examination to qualify as a
professional instructor. Instructor candidates become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors only after
successfully completing an IE. This balanced and
consistent evaluation process is one of the hallmarks that makes PADI
professionals the most demanded and respected instructors in the dive
industry. |
Instructor candidates
will be evaluated on the following during the PADI IE: |
|
PADI IEs are periodically scheduled in
Minnesota as well as in other locations around the World. Look below for IE dates in the
Minneapolis / St. Paul area or for dates in other locations. |
